Fine Zinc Powders :

The BU Zinc Chemicals exhibited for the fourth time in the biggest fair in the coating world.

European Coating Show is organised every second year and is the largest paint exhibition with more than 22,000 visitors and 800 exhibitors from 100 countries in 2007.

Zinc Chemicals has introduced their new products Zampâ and Nozipâ for the Fine Zinc Powder and the Zanoâ for the Zinc Oxide in the market. Two Umicore keynote speakers presented a paper at the Nürnberg Congress (gathering 750 Scientists from all over the world) on 'Anti-Corrosion Paints based on nano zinc metal powder' and on 'Combining long-term UV protection and transparency by using nano-sized cerium oxide and zinc oxide'

The ECS in Nürnberg has been a real success thanks to the number and quality of contacts and the complete recognition of Umicore leadership in our market segments. Our new products have been the real eye catchers and increased very much our visibility.
